Love in Moreno Valley has been a project that’s close to my heart and shooting it has been one of the highlights of the last year for me.
The greatest thing about working on a project with such great people is that it ends up feeling very much like a large family, with everyone brought together by their commitment to making something we believe in.
First of all, I was really happy to have the chance to work for the third time with Steven Huffaker. He’s truly a brilliant and upcoming director with some inspiring ideas.
Then, I had the privilege of working with an amazing cast. Everyone was great to work with, and there were a lot of opportunities to have some fun… In particular, I really enjoyed my on-set moments with Jack MacDonald and Jaire Bowen, whose characters drive my character, Mr. Durante, crazy in the movie. Brendan Small was fun to work with in one hilarious scene in particular – I think the fact that we enjoyed it so much will show through when the movie’s released.
Unfortunately I didn’t have any scenes with John Ennis, who has a great presence that’s a mix of both serious and funny. I was happy when I did get a chance to do a project with him shortly after shooting Love in Moreno Valley.
You know it’s a great cast when you start missing everyone before you’ve even wrapped. Both on a personal and a professional level, I just want to say thanks to the great cast and crew of Love in Moreno Valley!
Love In Moreno Valley is coming out soon!
